General CBD Questions

CBD is short for Cannabidiol and is extracted from the whole cannabis plant, commonly called hemp. There are many different strains and strengths of cannabis with varying levels of Cannabidiol (CBD). More accurately, various cannabinoids, including CBG and CBC, CBN, CBG and THCV, are inherently present in the plant. Each has different beneficial effects depending on the species’ genetic makeup. Other factors such as terpenes also have an essential role to play.

Indivita™ Global CBD hemp extracts contain a full spectrum of known Phytocannabinoids. More cannabinoids are being discovered frequently as scientific research goes on.

Our CBD-rich hemp extracts are sourced from the Cannabis Sativa plant. The extracted oil contains naturally occurring Phytocannabinoids, such as CBD, as well as some minor cannabinoids like CBC, CBN, and CBG,

Yes, they are all the same product, created by extracting Cannabidiol from the cannabis or hemp plant through a very exacting process.

Producers may label them under any of the above names but be assured they are all the same products. The term "hemp" identifies the cannabis that contains 0.3% THC content or less by dry weight.

Hemp Seed oil is a different product that has been cold-pressed from only the Hemp seeds. This oil is used for culinary purposes with other nutritional benefits and cosmetic products.

(Please be aware of brands advertising Hemp Oil on their labels to create a misconception that the product is or contains CBD, whereas it is only Hemp Seed Oil and usually noted in fine print somewhere on the label.

The flowers of cannabis (both hemp and marijuana) secrete a sticky resin abundant in cannabinoids like CBD, terpenes, and various other phytochemicals, including CBG and CBC, CBN, CBG and THCV (not to be confused with psychoactive THC).

CBD, also known as Whole plant extract, is derived from an exacting process using the Whole Plant before seeds are allowed to develop.

The truth is that Cannabidiol, known as CBD, is non-psychoactive and will not produce the ‘high’ associated with marijuana. The widespread misconception became a general viewpoint among those entering industry-related work, where many myths surround cannabinoids. CBD has a low-level THC percentage presence of regulated .2% to a maximum of .3% THC.

CBD hemp oil or Cannabidiol is not addictive in any way, nor does not have any THC psychoactive effects whatsoever. The misconception that cannabis is addictive is a lie so old that it would not surprise me if you believed it.

When examining how these substances interact within our bodies - cancer cells being one situation where scientists worldwide have thoroughly researched their effects - it becomes obvious why it has entered the medical field. There is intensive scientific research worldwide, and new benefits are constantly discovered.

CBD hemp oil is a natural alternative to medication. There is strong evidence that it helps treat anxiety, schizophrenia, and stress. It can be taken as a relief for these disorders without creating any noticeable distortion in your mood, nor will it alter your sense of reality. The inherent calming properties can readily help regulate emotions. It has been linked with improvements in mental health by lowering depression symptoms without the side effects of mainstream medicines.

It may help with female arousal threshold issues and men with male issues. Its ability as a relaxant plays a role in alleviating stress-related and hormonal problems or performance issues.

CBD is known for its calming properties and soothing effects on the body and provides a sense of relaxation. It does not change the spatial and sensory perceptions or create euphoria. It also supports healthy sleep cycles and, with consistent usage, effectively reduces muscle pain and exercise-induced inflammation.

It's not like medicine that will make you sleep faster, but it does help with stress which may lead to sleeping more quickly and give you a more relaxed sleep.

The myrcene content of cannabis has some sedative properties that may help people relax when they're stressed out or anxious. If speaking strictly medically, these effects don't last long enough.

General CBD Questions

The benefits of CBD are far-reaching. Research has shown some evidence that CBD could assist with pain relief, muscle inflammation and reduce feelings of anxiety. Higher-strength CBD has been successful in treating insomnia.

Studies have also found that when CBD hemp oil is applied topically, it can positively impact human sebocytes - the cells that usually cause acne breakouts. There is even evidence that the extract may assist with some types of stress-related eczema.

CBD interacts with our endocannabinoid system — a complex network of receptors and neurotransmitters spread throughout the body. It is the system that regulates and balances our organs and hormones.

These receptors are abundantly located in the brain, central nervous, and immune systems. Just about every organ in our body has cannabinoid receptors. You can almost say we are a walking cannabinoid. Even your skin’s endocrine system has these receptors.

The endocannabinoid system controls a multitude of primary biological functions, including:

  • Neuroprotection
  • Immune response
  • Sensory perception
  • Stress management
  • Cognitive performance

CBD increases our naturally occurring endocannabinoids and assists the body in maintaining its balance system by increasing our naturally occurring endocannabinoids

There are many ways you can take CBD as it is versatile. The dosage can be taken directly in the mouth, where an abundance of receptors and blood vessels are located and held under the tongue for a few seconds to speed up absorption.

Another effective way is through our THC free Tobacco-free Vapes, where it goes enters the bloodstream when inhaled. CBD infused gummies are another medium of delivering the CBD effectively.

Our metabolism and cellular structure vary in each person. Hence there is no optimal CBD dosage that would suit every individual. A graduated dropper is included with each package. One full dropper contains around 1mL of oil, which equals 20 drops. Until you get accustomed to the quantity, we recommend you count the 20 drops in the beginning. This will equate to 1ml.

Start with a quarter or half of that dosage, i.e., five drops or ten drops once a day, and build up to the full 1ml. Do not panic if you exceed the number of drops.

Children can be given a quarter ml or five drops per day.

A high-quality CBD oil is usually an amber-gold, greenish-amber, or pale-yellow color, with clear consistency and free of any plant material.

It should have a floral, fruity aroma depending on the strain of the plant from which extracted.

A CBD oil product falling short of these criteria shows that the product may not have been processed with professional equipment.
